Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kelly Ripa teased that she has a big announcement during the Wednesday episode of “Live With Kelly” and incidentally, it is the same day as Michael Strahan made his full-time debut on “Good Morning America.”

The TV personality told fans that she has a big announcement but did not offer specific details. Fans believe that the announcement is about Ripa unveiling who will be her new on-screen partner since Strahan’s exit from the then-“Live With Kelly and Michael.” Strahan and Ripa seems to be not in good terms despite talking things through as she believed that she was blindsided with the announcement of the former NFL player that he will be leaving “Live” in order to join “Good Morning America.”

Since Strahan exited “Live,” Ripa has had a number of guest hosts such as Andy Cohen and Fred Savage. Strahan exited the show nearly four months now but Ripa still has no permanent on-screen partner. Ripa’s guest host on Tuesday is actor Morris Chestnut. Chestnut is set to return to co-host for “Live With Kelly” for next week’s Wednesday episode.

After Strahan announced that he is set to leave “Live,” Ripa did not show up for four episodes and it has caused a major drama between the two parties as well as with the network ABC. Strahan also had to exit “Live” at an earlier time as opposed to the scheduled departure. It was also recently reported that Ripa has been promoted to being the executive producer of “Live With Kelly” as ABC proposed the promotion as part of trying to settle the drama regarding Strahan .

Ripa is yet to give more details about her big announcement.
