Kesha claims she was offered her freedom if she retracts rape allegations against Dr. Luke

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kesha has a new claim about her legal battle with Dr. Luke as per her latest Instagram post, she says she got offered her freedom if she retracts her claims that her producer raped her.
The 29-year-old pop singer has sued Dr. Luke back in 2014 for sexual assault and battery. She is seeking to have her contract with the producer be invalidated so she could release new music. Just recently, a preliminary injunction requesting her to release music outside her contract was not granted by a judge.
Dr. Luke in turn filed a lawsuit saying that the allegations of the singer are defamatory. He also claimed that he never raped the singer nor did he have sex with her pointing out that they just want to extort money from him.
Kesha then posted a selfie on Instagram with the following caption: "So. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again." Although she did not name anyone on her post, fans were quick to speculate that the singer was talking about Dr. Luke.
An attorney for Dr. Luke has responded to the latest post of Kesha . The attorney said that the court has “repeatedly stated Kesha is already free to record without Dr. Luke” despite not presenting any facts that support her claims that she was mentally, physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. The attorney added, “That's because all the evidence—including Kesha's own videotaped sworn testimony – show her allegations are false.”
A deposition back in 2011 showed Kesha and her mother saying that Dr. Luke has never touched her or had any inappropriate relationship with the music producer. Kesha and her mother are claiming now that they were forced to deny the allegations back then.
The attorney for Dr. Luke added, "The only thing Kesha is not free to do is to continue to lie about Dr. Luke through publicity stunts and outrageous smears, ignoring the fact that by her own free will she went to work and entered into new contracts with Dr. Luke years after this 'incident' supposedly happened."
Dr. Luke has not been charged with any crime.
