Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kesha will no longer be silenced as she has taken to her Facebook page to say her thoughts about her court battle against Dr. Luke days after it has been ruled that she should continue recording with the musical producer and his label.
The singer has taken to her Facebook page to talk about the ruling of the judge as well as thanked her supporters. She pointed out that her case was never about a renegotiation of her record contract but is about being “free from my abuser.”
Kesha wanted her contract with Dr. Luke to be nullified as she also claims that he sexually abused her. Dr. Luke has taken to Twitter that he will not comment on the lawsuits as it should be settled in court and not on social media but he pointed out that it’s a shame people who have little information aboue the issue are speculating too much. He also stands firm with his statement that he never raped Kesha and has never had sex with her.
Kesha said in her latest post, “I can’t believe that so many people all over the world took the time to show me support and love. Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful.” She pointed out that all she ever wanted was to make music without being afraid, scare, or abused.
Kesha added that she is willing to work with Sony, which is the company that manages Dr. Luke’s label, if and only if they will promise that she does not have to work or communicate in any way with her “abuser.”
She also said that her case is not giving people who have been abused the confidence that they can speak out. She added, “But I just want to say that if you have been abused, please don’t be afraid to speak out. There are places that will make you feel safe. There are people who will help you. I for one, will stand beside you and behind you.”
