Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Khloe Kardashian has once again talked about her relationship status with Lamar Odom as the rumor mill continues to say that the two are back together after she has been taking care of him since his health scare last October.
Kardashian and Odom have been separated since 2013 and they have filed for a divorce but it has been postponed after the former NBA player suffered from a drug overdose last year.
She shared when being interviewed by “The Talk,” “I was told when I did go to the hospital that he had four hours to live and make your peace with this and I was not going to accept that answer. This is not the way this man is going to go out.”
Since the day that Odom was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious, Kardashian has been by his side and has helped him on his way to recovery. She has rented out a home near to hers so she would be close to her estranged husband.
Nearly five months after Odom’s hospitalization, he has been making public appearances such as when he attended Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 at the New York Fashion Week. Kardashian revealed, "He wanted to go to Kanye's show so badly. I had so many reservations. I was so nervous. I was just so protective. I'm still so protective. He walked in on his own with Kanye and he went to Madison Square Garden where he used to play. It was so just impactful. It was beautiful."
Kardashian shared that West has been instrumental in Odom’s recovery as he played his album for the former NBA player when he was still in the hospital and he was having problems with his speech. She added, “So when he was able to finally speak he would always say ‘Kanye really helped me,’ I loved that he would come and do that for him.”
The “Kocktails With Khloe” host also reiterated that she and Odom are not back together. She pointed out that she loves Odom so much but the divorce happened and it happened due to many reasons.
She continued, "I don't think love just because we're not romantically involved means I can't care about someone. I find that so simple-minded."
