Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kris Jenner has posed for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar and she has revealed in her interview that she has not moved on yet from the transition of Caitlyn Jenner .
Jenner is seen in the magazine spread sporting circus-themed outfits as she posed with clowns and acted like a lion tamer. The reality star momager opened up about how she is feeling regarding her ex-husband becoming a woman. Kris pointed out that it has impacted her life in a lot of ways. However, she did clarify that despite the sadness and “wounds that need healing” after Caitlyn’s transition, she is very thankful to have gained knowledge about transgender people.
Kris shared, "I never really thought about it before. And I'd never known anyone who was transgender. I didn't even know what the word meant. Because there's transgender and transsexual… I just didn't know much about it. So…I definitely got a big education."
As for moving forward and coming to terms with the transition, Kris pointed out that it would take more time as it is a “challenge.” She added that she has to let it go adding, "And try to be tolerant. [With] prayer. God. You know, just trying to understand. It takes time. But time is a wonderful healer. And we have two children together. It's important for my kids to see our family strong and united."
Kris also shared that Caitlyn’s transition to a woman has not affected the way the momager feels about herself but it made her question their relationship. She shared, “You know, what were those 20-plus years all about?”
Just recently, Caitlyn opened up about her marriage as well as her plans of transition back in the ‘80s . She shared that she was supposed to transition before she was 40 but when she got to 39, she could not push herself any further. She admitted that she did take some hormones resulting to her having a 36B bust size back then but when she met Kris, she decided to not continue with her transition and had her breasts removed.
Caitlyn added, "Three or four months later, I met Kris. We hit it off from day one. I was very honest with her…and I made this decision to move on with my life, Kris and I together with this family."
