Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Lady Gaga wowed everyone during her Super Bowl 2017 halftime performance and now she will be taking over the post of Beyonce after the soon-to-be mother-of-three opted out of the 2017 Coachella Music Festival on doctor’s orders.

Gaga took to Twitter to announce the schedule of the artists to perform in Coachella this April. The post was up on both her Twitter and Instagram accounts. She will be headlining two Saturday nights and she captioned the poster with the statement, “Let’s party in the desert!”

Last week, the ticket sales at this year’s Coachella dropped after it was announced that Beyonce will not be performing. She will be headlining one of the weekends of Coachella by next year. The whole statement regarding Beyonce’s cancellation reads: "Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for understanding."

Many have guessed Gaga as the substitute for Beyonce while others believed it would be Rihanna. According to reports, the organizers of Coachella, AEG Live and Goldenvoice, wanted a female performer to take over Beyonce’s spot because this is the first time that a woman will be headlining the festival since Bjork in 2007.

The other headliners for this year’s Coachella festival are Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. Gaga will headline on April 15 and 22 while Radiohead will perform on April 14 and 21. As for Lamar, he will perform on April 16 and 23.

After the Coachella gig, Gaga will be kicking off with her Joanne World Tour on August 1. It will start at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
