Cleveland, OH, United States (NewsBahn) – About a week after Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James tweeted to hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and Anthony Tiffith , the CEO of the Top Dawg Entertainment record label, asking them to release the star's latest new music the basketball standout got his wish.

Lamar tweeted out his album "untitled unmastered " Thursday night. LeBron recently tried to motivate his friend via twitter.

Yo @dangerookipawaa after that @kendricklamar Grammy performance , you have to release those untitled tracks asap !!! What's up? Talk to me

The pair are also both close to LA Clippers star guard Chris Paul, it turns out.

LeBron gives Lamar rave reviews for his new work according to ESPN.
