Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Lil Wayne’s new memoir entitled “Gone ‘Til November” reportedly tackles the rapper’s life while in prison, officiating a same sex marriage, and alleging that Drake betrayed him.
The 33-year-old rapper was at the New York City's notorious Rikers Island prison system for eight months due to weapons possession. He was arrested in July 2007 when a loaded .40-caibre semi-automatic was found on his tour bus.
He served time in 2010 and Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter Jr ., revealed about the impromptu same sex marriage. He said that grown-ass men hung tissue in jail for wedding decorations during that time.
He added that for the marriage, 13 bottles of Gatorade were used for toasting. He noted, “Gatorade is liquid gold in this b** ch . Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy.”
As for Drake allegedly betraying him, Lil Wayne said that a former girlfriend slept with the Canadian rapper while he was in jail. He wrote that it was the absolute worst thing he could have found out. Lil Wayne said that he also confronted Drake about it but did not give details as to how the confrontation went down. Lil Wayne said that when he asked Drake regarding sleeping with his girlfriend, the latter only said, “Yeah, it’s true.”
While in jail, other rappers such as P Diddy and Kanye West also visited him. He also released his eighth album “I Am Not a Human Being” while behind bars.
Drake has not yet commented on the allegations of Lil Wayne.
“Gone ‘Til November” will be out this October 11.
