Beverly Hills, CA, United States (4E) – Mandy Moore broke her silence over her divorce from Ryan Adams two months after it was finalized and the actress said that life is not easy but she is doing fantastic.

Moore was at the “This Is Us” panel at the Television Critics Association tours in Beverly Hills and the 32-year-old talked about her split from Adams. She and Adams have been married for nearly six years and she shared, "It's tough. Life is not easy. I think it's been great to be able to take all of the chapters in my life and be able to pour it into a job like this because it all helps. It's all fuel."

Moore, who plays the role of a mother of triplets, but one of the babies did not survive, in the upcoming NBC drama “This Is Us,” added that her divorce affected her work. She noted that she thinks everything happens for a reason and she spent a good portion of the last years of her life pouring all her energy into her relationship. Moore continued to reveal that she believes it is not a coincidence that “things sort of opened back up” and now she can focus on herself again.

The actress and Adams announced their split in January 2015. During that time, they said that the split was amicable and requested for privacy. Earlier this year, when the divorce was finalized, it was found out that neither is receiving spousal support and Moore got to keep their Griffith Park home, their Beverly Hills condo, and a 2012 Prius . Adams, on the other hand, got to keep his comic book collection, arcade games, a 2008 Porsche Carrera and a 1959 Cadillac.

More on the new NBC drama that Moore stars in, she said that she is excited for fans to see it. The drama will premiere this September 20 at 9 P.M. Moore stars alongside Milo Ventimiglia , Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, and Chrissy Metz. This is the first series of Moore in years.

She revealed that she was part of many series that only lasted for one season and it crushed her. Moore then talked about reading the script of “This Is Us” for the first time and she shared"I read [this] script in October of last year and was immediately like, 'I will do whatever I can to be a part of this.' I'm thrilled this is the one that's moving forward and I get to be a part of this incredible cast."

Moore also revealed her plans of channeling her experiences for the past two years through music.
