Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Matthew Paetz and “Scream Queens” star Lea Michele have reportedly broken up after two years of dating.

According to reports, Michele herself has a lot of questions regarding the break-up as the 30-year-old aspiring model suddenly left her without warning around two weeks ago. Paetz is also reportedly refusing to speak with the 29-year-old “Glee” alum as well as with anyone who is close to her. The insider close to the former couple added: “She got no reason or explanation for the split.”

Michele and Paetz have been together since April of 2014 after meeting on the set of her music video for the song “On My Way.” Paetz was the first person Michele dated after losing her boyfriend Corey Monteith in 2013 due to heroin overdose.

The two also moved in together by September 2014. It was an issue before that Michele was dating Paetz because he reportedly used to work as a male companionship for women. A source said, "She was also very supportive of him even when her friends were skeptical of him because of his past. Lea wanted to believe in love and wanted to believe the good in him. She didn't think he should be punished for his past."

Another source shared that Michele is now being surrounded by her friends and that she is now focusing on her work, her music and her album. The break-up reports come a month after Michele and Paetz sparked engagement rumors.

In a recent interview with Flare magazine, Michele talked lovingly of Paetz saying, “I got back to that place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world and, you know, bring in more beautiful experiences. And that’s when someone miraculously came into my life.”

Other reports are saying that Michele’s success got in the way of their relationship as Paetz began to resent her.

Michele and Paetz are yet to comment on these reports.
