Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The children of Michael Jackson, Paris and Prince, 18 and 19 years old respectively, paid tribute to their father on what was supposed to be his 58th birthday.
The two children of the late King of Pop took to Instagram to share a sonnet that was written by Prince. The sonnet was entitled “The Myth, The Legend, The Man.” The sonnet opened with: “To many he is a king, to me, a man. All he inspires, to lead a noble cause. Everyone is family, not a fan. Even while receiving thunderous applause. The many know the Legend and the Myth, A lucky few know the Man as he is.” You can read the remaining parts of the sonnet here: https://www.instagram.com/p/ BJsgn6Mjvwf /?taken-by= princejackson .
Paris also re-grammed the sonnet of Prince. She said that she loves the poem and is proud of his big brother. She then wished her late father a happy birthday, who he says means to them more than anything and anyone ever could.
Both Paris and Prince have gotten a tattoo as a tribute to their father. They also have a younger sibling, Blanket Jackson. All of the three children of Michael remain to be in close contact with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.
Aside from his kids and fans, his close friend Madonna also paid tribute to the late singer. Madonna took to Twitter to write: "Happy Birthday to this wonderful and glorious creature!! The King! Gone too soon!" Madonna and Michael were once linked romantically but they said that they are just friends.
