Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Miley Cyrus covered the October issue of Elle magazine and in it, she revealed that she will no longer do a red carpet as long as people are starving.

The last time that Cyrus walked a red carpet was last year when she had to do the “A Very Murray Christmas” premiere. She shared, “Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m 'important'? Because I’m 'famous'? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit — it's like Zoolander.”

She added that there was this point in her life that she could not sleep and was covered in rashes because she was so stressed and she felt so guilty. She continued to reveal, “I dropped my water on my hike and felt like such an a–hole. There are children being sold into sex slavery; how can I go on a hike right now? So now I try to do as much as I can through Happy Hippie.”

Cyrus has been active on her social media accounts and has been posting photos of her on her Instagram account but she noted that she no longer wants to pose for professional photographers at Hollywood events.

She also noted that she plans to expand her social media presence noting that she wants to be on Snapchat . The 23-year-old revealed that she does not know how to use the app and she feels like she will be an old lady who is too held back if she does not star keeping up with it.

Cyrus also confirmed that she and Liam Hemsworth are back together. She said that she is not into the latest game, “Pokemon Go,” but her fiancé is. She noted that there was this one time that Hemsworth just woke up and he went to the car because it was a PokeSpot .

The singer is also currently shooting for the next season of NBC’s “The Voice” as she and Alicia Keys are the new coaches alongside Adem Levine and Blake Shelton.
