Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Actor Milo Ventimiglia recently talked about “This Is Us” and what the fans of the show are expecting after the new series premiered.

Ventimiglia shared that the creator of the show, Dan Fogelman , said that Jack, the character that Ventimiglia plays, and Rebecca, played by Mandy Moore, will be seen in decades. Ventimiglia , 39, added, “I think the idea is we’re going to see everything — the all encompassing world of a marriage and parenthood and dealing with the curveballs that get thrown at you every day.”

The ending of the premiere of “This Is Us” showed that Jack and Rebecca are the parents of Kevin, played by Justin Hartley, Kate, played by Chrissy Metz, and Randall, played by Sterling K. Brown. Kate and Kevin are supposed to be triplets but it was shown that the third baby died when Rebecca gave birth to them. Jack and Rebecca then adopted Randall, who was abandoned at a fire station by his father.

Kevin just quit his job of being a sitcom artist, Kate was seen struggling with her weight, and Randall tracking down his father. The story of “This Is Us” is basically about the parents’ saga beginning in 1979 and showing the tales of the siblings in the present day.

Ventimiglia noted in his interview that there is loss in life and he thinks everyone deals with losses. He pointed out that in life, there is sweet with the sour and no matter what happens, people should make the best out of the situation they are in.

Fogelman was also recently interviewed and he shared about the three siblings saying, “It’s hard to trump biology, but then it’s also hard to trump twins; it’s a really hard thing to get inside of for Randall. And then also with Randall and Kevin, there’s two different kinds of brothers. There’s the type of brothers who are intertwined, and then there’s the type of brothers who are always at odds with each other. And Kevin’s kind of person is his twin sister, so it puts this kid on the outside looking in. So there’s different dynamics.”

“This Is Us” airs every Tuesday at 9 P.M. on NBC.
