Manhattan, NY, United States (4E) – Miss Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach has been confirmed to be dating Dr. Mike, the doctor who was searching for love online and is referred to as the Hottest Doctor on Instagram .
The two have noticeably been hanging out a lot together as they have been posting photos on their social media accounts. In one of the posts of Dr. Mike on Instagram , he posted a photo of the beauty queen and wrote: "She says she wanted to be a doctor until she realized she's deathly afraid of the sight of blood ??, so she decided to win # MissUniverse instead # touche # welldone # stoneheartday @piawurtzbach ."
Wurtzbach , on the other hand, took to Twitter to share a gym workout selfie with the doctor. She wrote alongside the photo: "Zombies after boxing @RealDoctorMike ."
The two have first sparked romance rumors last month when they were seen enjoying dinner at New York’s Balvanera restaurant. Wurtzbach shared a photo with the doctor and the rumor mill about them being romantically involved started.
Wurtzbach was asked during a recent Facebook chat if she was seeing someone as fans were dying to know if she and Dr. Mike are getting serious but she said that she is more focused on fulfilling her Miss Universe duties rather than finding love. While holding her sash, she said, "No. There's no specific someone in my life.” She added that the “specific someone” in her life as of the moment is her sash and her crown noting that those are her priorities.
However, a week later, Dr. Mike said in an interview that he is indeed dating Wurtzbach . He said, on Wonderwall , "I am dating Pia . It's a fairly new relationship but I'm really excited to see where it can go!" The same time as Dr. Mike’s revelation, Wurtzbach’s relationship stats on Facebook was also changed.
