Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – It has been two years since Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized after she was found face down in the bath tub of her home and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, took to Twitter to share photos of the late daughter of Whitney Houston.
Gordon uploaded two photos on the social media platform. One showed Brown smiling at the camera while the other snap showed the two kissing while her engagement ring was shown. The 26-year-old said in the caption, "You're the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep. I love & miss you RIH my angel."
Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31, 2015. She was then taken to North Fulton Hospital. She was then placed in a medically induced coma at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Six months later, she died. She was 22 years old.
On September 21, 2016, a judge ruled that Gordon was found liable for the wrongful death of Brown by a judge. Brown's conservator, Bedelia Hargrove , filed a $10 million wrongful death civil suit against Gordon in August 2015. They alleged that Gordon physically abused Brown and stole a lot of money from her. They also claimed that Gordon gave Brown a toxic cocktail, which made her unconscious. He then tried to put her face down in a bath tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage.
The father of Bobby Kristina, Bobby Brown, said in a statement regarding Gordon being found legally liable in his daughter’s death, "I am pleased with the outcome of today's court proceedings. I do know that Mr. Gordon will be unable to slander my daughter's name in the future or obtain any benefits from the use of Krissy's name."
The legal team of Gordon, on the other hand, said in a statement last year that the lawsuit filed against him was slanderous and meritless . They added, "Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most."
