Orlando, FL, United States (4E) – Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato have gone to Orlando to honor the shooting victims as well as to visit the staff of the Pulse night club, where a man opened fire and killed 49 people as well as injured many.
Jonas and Lovato have been touring across the country for their Honda Civic Tour so they decided to stop by Florida and do something special for the employees at the night club. According to a Facebook post that has been shared on the social media platform over the weekend, it has been reported that the two gave the employees a show for free. The employees also took part in a meet and greet before the shot started.
The post reads: "Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato , thank you for making the pulse family smile # onepulse # orlandostrong # pulseorlando . We will rise and not be defeated! # onepulse # pulseorlando ." It has also been reported that around 30 employees received a private suite at the Amway Center for the show of the two singers.
Aside from Jonas and Lovato’s performances, they also called in a surprise guest. They welcomed Andra Dayonto on stage for the song “Rise Up.” While the three artists were singing “Rise Up,” the names and the ages of the victims from the Orlando mass shooting were shown on the screen behind them.
Not only the victims at the night club were honored as “The Voice” former contestant Christina Grimmie was also featured in the concert. Grimmie was shot a day before the mass shooting by a man who is said to be his stalker.
