Nick Jonas talks Kate Hudson on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson have been a hot item in the past months but the two have never confirmed that they are dating and that they are romantically linked so Ellen DeGeneres grilled the “Jealous” singer about it.
Hudson was previously engaged to Matt Bellamy while Jonas dated Olivia Culpo for years before they split last year. Since then, Hudson and Jonas have been spotted out and about during date nights or outings with their friends. Jonas finally set the record straight when he appeared on the Monday episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
DeGeneres asked Jonas if he really is single following his solo appearance for the 2016 Met Gala. Jonas confirmed, "I really am. Yeah I am." DeGeneres followed it up with: "So how's Kate Hudson doing? She's good?"
Jonas then responded that the actress is great as he was holding back a chuckle. He added, "We had a group dinner the night before the Met Gala. Lots of people and she was there and I was there." DeGeneres did not seem convinced as she responded by saying, “Uh huh. Whatever.”
The “Jealous” singer also talked about his tour with Demi Lovato and their decision to cancel their tour stop in North Carolina. Lovato and Jonas announced days ago that they did not want to perform at a state that had discriminatory laws. North Carolina has been facing backlash over their transgender bathroom bill.
Jonas shared, “It's an incredibly frustrating situation overall. We are very aware of our strong LGBT community fanbase and the support they've given us and the support we want to give them and this was a time where I feel like we said we have to make a bold statement, put our foot down and stand firm in something we believe in.”
He added that the decision was the right thing to do and he hopes that their fans will stand united with them.
