Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder expecting their first child together

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder just announced that they are expecting their first child together but did not give away too many details.
The parents-to-be took to their Instagram to post a photo showing Somerhalder cradling the growing baby bump of Reed. In the photo, Reed wore a Bayou With Love blue chambray dress. She wrote alongside the photo, “Hi Little One. I know you, but only because I feel you. How is it possible to love someone so much already? All I know for sure is it’s the strongest feeling I’ve ever felt. We’ve been sharing this body for quite some time, and we’ve already experienced so much together. We can’t wait to meet you… Love, your parents.”
Somerhalder posted the same photo and he said that in his 38 years of existence, he has never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than expecting a baby. He said he cannot think of anything more exciting than this chapter of their lives. He added, “This has been the most special time of our lives and we wanted to keep it between the three of us for as long as possible so we could enjoy this time with each other and our little one who is growing so fast…because that’s what they do, they grow so fast. Thank you for your kind energy. Love, Ian.”
Many believed the dress of Reed hinted that they are having a baby boy. It is unclear how far along Reed is and what is the gender of their baby. They have not confirmed or denied the speculations regarding the baby’s gender.
Reed and Somerhalder tied the knot in April of 2015.
