Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Paris Jackson, one of the children of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, recently had her first ever candid and in-depth interview with Rolling Stone and one of the biggest reveals in her cover interview was her fear for the career of Justin Bieber and he belief that her father was murdered.
The 18-year-old also touched on the subjects of depression, suicide, and drug abuse. More on her fears for Bieber, Paris said that she recently saw the pop star in his tour and said, “He was tired, going through the motions.” Paris said that this reminded her of her later father as both Bieber and Michael looked exhausted all the time. Bieber has not yet commented on this.
Paris also revealed that she was sexually assaulted by a complete stranger at the age of 14. She did not give details but said that it was not a good experience and she was not able to tell anyone about it. She also said that she attempted to take her life more than once. Last June 2013, Paris was only 15 and she attempted to take her own life by taking 20 Motrin pills and by cutting her wrists. Regarding the news about the attempted suicide, Paris shared, "It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore."
She also said that she became depressed and used drugs because she did not fit in. The “not fitting in” feeling started when she entered a private school in the seventh grade. Some of her tattoos are actually her way of covering up some track marks she got from drug usage.
Modeling is her way of boosting her confidence. Paris recently debuted her modeling career at the Paris Fashion Week last week and was at the Givenchy Menswear Fall/Winter 2017-2018 runway show. She said that when she is modeling, she forgets about her self-esteem issues and focus on what photographers are telling her.
As for Michael rumored to be not her real father, Paris said, “He will always be my father. He never wasn't, and he never will not be. People that knew him really well say they see him in me, that it's almost scary.” She also believes that her father was murdered and wants justice. She added, "I definitely [want justice] but it's a chess game, and I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that's all I can say about that right now."
