Patrick Dempsey confirms he and wife are back together, not pushing through with divorce

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Patrick Dempsey just confirmed that he and his wife Jillian Dempsey are back together and are no longer pushing through with their divorce, which was announced last year.
Jillian filed for divorce last January 2015 after she and Patrick were married for 15 years. The two also share three children together.
However, despite the filing, the two have been spotted together on several occasions. Also, a month after the divorce filing, the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star was photographed still wearing his wedding ring. Last November, they were seen holding hands in Paris. He was in the nearby London for the shooting of “Bridget Jones’s Baby.”
This January, the two also attended the inaugural Marie Claire Image Maker Awards and a month later, they were photographed showing PDA while on a yacht in St. Barts . The St. Barts vacation was with their three kids, 14-year-old Tallula and their nine-year-old twins Sullivan and Darby. Also over the weekend, they were seen kissing at the soccer game of their sons.
Just last week, a judge handling the divorce of the Dempseys sent Jillian a notice that she should file the needed additional documents in order to complete the proceedings of their marital separation. If she does not comply, the case will be thrown out. It was not clear what Jillian told the judge.
Patrick was interviewed recently by the U.K. publication “The Evening Standard” via their ES magazine and he said that he thinks he and Jillian have reconciled. He added, "You have to work at everything. And you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed."
