Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Prince Jackson, the oldest child of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has shared a snap of him getting inked by the same artist that his sister, Paris Jackson, had work done with.
According to reports, the siblings were at a tattoo parlor on Sunday to get new body art. The work on Prince took four hours to finish the tattoo of Anubis, the Egyptian god of funerals and death. The tattoo was placed on Prince’s upper right shoulder blade. The Anubis seemed eerie as it showed the creature toting a shank dripping in blood.
Prince did not have anything to celebrate but his sister Paris did. Reportedly, it was the 18th birthday of Paris and she used her new body art to pay tribute to their father Michael. A singer phrase lined her forearm which reads “Queen Of My Heart.” She shared on Instagram : "'Queen of My Heart' in his handwriting. To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart. Thank you @dermagraphink , you're a legend." The photo was in black and white.
Aside from honoring Michael, Paris also got another ink for her paternal grandmother Katherine Jackson. The name was inked in Chinese on her wrist and it was decorated by a blooming blue lotus flower. She wrote alongside the photo, " Kǎisèlín " for Grandma Katherine, done by the ink goddess herself @thetattooprincess . Love you, G-Ma."
Despite having the tattoos to honor Michael and to show her love for her grandmother, Paris garnered negative reactions from her followers. Some wrote “second tattoo in two days?!” and “once you get one, you can’t stop!”
Paris then took to Twitter to defend herself saying: "Never apologize for art."
