Rachel Roy cancels scheduled appearance, daughter gets attacked by Beyonce fans

New York City, NY, United States (4E) – After rumors swirled saying that Rachel Roy is Becky in one of the songs that Beyonce released noting that her husband Jay Z cheated on her with that woman, the fashion designer cancelled a scheduled appearance.
According to reports, Roy was supposed to give remarks at a “Mastering Your Métier” event in New York City on Monday. The event was organized by NeueHouse . However, it was reported that those who have confirmed that they will be attending the event received an email that reads: "Due to a personal emergency, Rachel Roy has had to cancel this evening's event. Our apologies for any inconvenience."
The specifics regarding the personal emergency that Roy is facing remain unknown but many are speculating that this is due to the fact that she is being linked to the newest album of Beyonce, which centers on relationship and cheating allegations. The HBO special of “Lemonade” was released last Saturday night and although Beyonce did not specifically refer to her husband Jay Z in any of the songs, the Beyhive was buzzing with speculations saying that the new album of their idol is really about her heartache.
The song that fans are saying is about Roy is the one entitled “Sorry.” In one part of the song, Beyonce sings, “better call Becky with the good hair.” After the song was released, Roy took to Instagram to share a selfie and the caption reads: "Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies , or self truths, always."
Fans interpreted it as a reference to the Beyonce song but Roy took to Twitter the following day to say: "I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind."
More on Roy, she recently closed her Instagram to the public after getting a lot of backlash from the Beyonce fans. The daughter of Roy has also been a recipient of some unfriendly comments by Beyonce’s fans on her Instagram account. One of the photos of Roy’s daughter, Ava Dash, at Coachella with a friend had been commented on with this: “Ur momma a WH-E smh.” Another comment reads: “Ur mom is a groupie a– c-nt b–ch…and will continue to get dragged to filth!!!!”
The mother and daughter are yet to comment on the issue.
