Las Vegas, NV, United States (4E) – Selena Gomez will not be singing “The Heart Wants What It Wants” during her Revival tour as reports say that it is a Justin Bieber-inspired song.

The 23-year-old songstress was recently interviewed and she was asked if she will sing specific songs. She then went on to explain what she will be performing and what won’t be on the set.

When asked if she will sing “The Heart Wants What It Wants,” Gomez shared, “There are things that I can’t do. I won’t be performing this on this tour because I don’t want to. It’s like when you smell a scent and it takes you back to a place that maybe wasn’t the best place. That stuff is a little bit more difficult.”

Back in 2014 during the American Music Awards, Gomez sang “The Heart Wants What It Wants” but the singer nearly broke down on stage. She might not want to repeat the same feeling again that is why she refuses to perform the song.

The singer will be kicking off her Revival Tour this Friday in Las Vegas. She shared that she will be performing “Hands To Myself” as it was what changed her the most. Gomez also revealed that “Good For You” was sped up for the concert performances as it was a little slower in the album.

It is unclear if she will sing “Who Says” but she shared about her past record, “That song [makes me] cry to this day because I know what it did for me when I was 16 singing that song to kids on their dads’ shoulders. That’s when I recognized I had influence on a generation: ‘Who says you’re not perfect? Who says you’re not beautiful? Who says you’re not worth it?’”

The songstress also talked about her tour essentials. She said that she needs her chicken pot pie, candles, which she needs to make her feel at home everywhere she goes, her laptop, and a diffuser.
