Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – “Mother’s Day” star Shay Mitchell graced the cover of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan magazine and the actress talked about never wanting to label herself over sexuality.

Mitchell stunned in a red cutout one-piece outfit in the cover of the magazine and in the cover interview, she talked about her sexual orientation as well as her previous jobs before she hit it big on the small and big screens.

The 29-year-old actress then touched on the topic of sexuality. Mitchell plays the role of a lesbian on the hit show “Pretty Little Liars” and she shared, "When I started, people were like, 'What are you?' I'm like, right now I'm dating a guy. I don't know what it's going to be in three years. You love who you love: black, white, polka-dot. That's what my dad always said. I'm never going to label myself. I could be 50 and dating a woman and then what? I said I was straight and now I'm not?"

Aside from talking about her sexuality and not labeling herself, she also touched on the topic of being a waitress in the past. The actress said that she would go on auditions during the day and work at night. Mitchell said that she has so much respect for waitresses, waiters and girls who work in clubs.

She continued to reveal, "I have so much respect for waiters, waitresses, girls who work in clubs," she says. "It's tough. I'd have old guys saying 'You're so pretty. Why are you working?' or 'Come live with me, honey.' Like, what, so I can be taken care of? That's the last thing that I want. What I wanted to say was, '[I work] so I will never end up with someone like you.'"

The actress then said that after “Pretty Little Liars,” she wants to have a company rather than getting a call from her agent to take on projects that she is not okay with but she still needs to do it.

The latest magazine will be out on newsstands on May 10.
