Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – The second ex-wife of Steve Harvey, Mary Harvey, sued him for $60 million for "damaging her soul".

The “Family Feud” host married Mary in 1996 and they divorced in 2005. She also said that she is suing him for child endangerment, conspiracy against rights, soul murder, kidnapping, torture, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The two have a son together named Wynton. As per soul murder, she pertained to it as, “achieved by a combination of torture, deprivation and brainwashing.”

Steve has custody over Wynton and Mary said that the pain of not having her son under her care robbed her of her joy that she was supposed to feel on Mother’s Day. The custody over their child also left her suicidal. She also resorted to self-medication in an attempt to handle her emotions after her public divorce battle with Steve. The lawsuit was filed in court by a civil rights activist and not a lawyer.

Mary posted a series of YouTube videos in April and May in 2011 alleging she never received her divorce settlement from Steve. She said in one video, "Steve Harvey owes me $50 million and I want him arrested for violating my civil rights. I want him charged with a constitutional rights violation, falsifying documents, perjury, contempt of court, embezzlement, extortion and collusion. For what he's done to me, I want to see Steve Harvey behind bars."

The lawsuit came after Steve sent out a memo to his staff members. In the memo, he told them he did not want his employees to approach him.
