Tom Hiddleston breaks silence over Taylor Swift months after break-up

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Tom Hiddleston broke his silence over Taylor Swift and their relationship in the past as well as the infamous “I (heart emoji ) TS” shirt he was photographed wearing during last year’s Fourth of July.
The two were first seen together locking lips in Rhode Island. They then traveled to different countries after the first time they were seen together. By the Fourth of July festivities, the two went back to Rhode Island as the “Shake It Off” singer hosted a party for her and her friends.
The two also met each other’s parents during the first month they dated. Many believed it was a publicity stunt but Hiddleston said in the past that their love for each other was real. In the GQ cover interview for this month, the actor echoed that statement again saying of his relationship with Swift, “Of court it was real.” He added of Swift, “Taylor is an amazing woman. She's generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.”
Before dating Hiddleston , Swift dated Calvin Harris. Swift and Hiddleston then met at the 2016 Met Gala and not long after, they were photographed locking lips at her Rhode Island mansion.
He continued to reveal with GQ , "So we decided to go out for dinner, we decided to travel…She's incredible. A relationship in the limelight…A relationship always takes work. And it's not just the limelight. It's everything else."
More on the “I (heart emoji ) TS” tank top that he was seen wearing while he was with Swift and her squad, the actor said that it was because they were playing a game and he slipped and hurt his back. He wanted to protect the graze from the sun and asked anyone who has a shirt then one of her friends handed her the thank top. He said they all laughed about it after.
He also said that the theories about the tank top made him psychologically challenged as he had to be strong in order to not let other people’s interpretations get into his head so it will not affect his life. Hiddleston continued to say that they will always know what they had and nobody else has a context of their story.
He did not elaborate on why they ended their relationship but said he does not regret dating one of the most famous pop stars in the world.
The March issue of GQ magazine will be hitting the newsstands in New York and Los Angeles this February 14. A wider release is set this February 21.
