New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is complaining about the schedule of the two debates, which will coincide with NFL games.

"I'll tell you what I don't like. It's against two NFL games," said Trump, referring to the two of three presidential debates on September 26 and October 9.

Trump also claimed on his Twitter account that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is trying to rig the debates.

The first debate on September 26 coincides with "Monday Night Football", where the Atlanta Falcons will play the New Orleans Saints.

The second presidential debate on October 9 coincides with "Sunday Night Football", featuring the showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers.

Trump also claimed that the NFL wrote him, saying “this is ridiculous”.

However, an NFL spokesman denied Trump’s claim in a statement.

"While we'd obviously wish the debate commission could find another night, we did not send a letter to Trump,” the league said.
