Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Tyga , reportedly paid off half of his $200,000 debt from Beverly Hills jeweler Jason Arasheben .
In 2013, Arasheben filed a lawsuit against Tyga claiming that the rapper owes him an excess of $270,000 in unpaid jewelry-related expenses. The attorney of Arasheben , Danny Abir , said in a statement that Tyga plans to pay the other half of the debt by November 17.
The reports about Tyga paying half of the jewelry debt comes after the rapper appeared at the office of Abir on October 18 for a scheduled debtors’ examination. However, Tyga got sick two hours into questioning and was not well enough to proceed. The 26-year-old also did not bring the documents he was required to bring. For the questioning, Tyga was supposed to answer questions about how he will support his luxurious lifestyle such as the expensive gifts he showers his girlfriend, 20-year-old Jenner .
Abir previously said that until Tyga pays off the debt, his sources of income used to buy the gifts for Jenner could be used to satisfy the jewelry debts. Jenner was also summoned in September to answer questions under oath regarding Tyga’s financial problems. It was also rumored in May this year that Tyga owed her $2 million but she slammed the reports on Twitter.
Earlier this year, Tyga also had to pay $480, 285 over an eviction case. He and his landlord reached the settlement earlier this year.
Just recently, Tyga threw a luxurious birthday bash for his son, King Cairo. He and Jenner were there for the birthday celebration of King Cairo, which had a trampoline, balloons shaped like a car on the pool, electronic toy cars, and a Ferris wheel.
