Banks shared, "Well, I'm on maternity leave right now, just taking a break. I really now am empowering my team. I'm understanding delegation, understanding that I don't have to do everything to make something successful. I'm on maternity leave and Tyra Beauty is kickin ' butt!"

As for taking care of her eight-week-old son, the creator and host of the show “America’s Next Top Model” said that things get a little difficult due to the lack of sleep. She continued to shared, "Some mornings you wake up, and you're like, ‘Where am I? I don't know what's going on. And I know it's not a good idea for me to drive right now because I did not sleep.’ So I balance that and his dad helps, and we go back and forth so that's good.”
Her boyfriend Erik Asla is also reportedly very hands on with their child as he does 40 percent of the diaper duty at night.
Banks and Erik welcomed their son last January and they posted a photo of a piece of clothing that belongs to their son. The two took the photos to their Instagram accounts. The supermodel said in the caption back then that their son is the best present they have prayed for. She added, "He's got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin.
