Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Vin Diesel once again paid tribute to the late actor Paul Walker as he took to Instagram to post a throwback photo with his former co-star in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

The photo was uploaded amid the continuous filming of the next installment of the franchise, which is known to be with the working title “Fast 8.” In the snap, it showed Diesel and Walker all smiles while they were being interviewed possibly about the movie.

In the caption, Diesel wrote that many of the crew members who have worked on the past “Fast and Furious” films are again helping them to make something special. He added, "One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent… And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud. # wemakethemwithourhearts ."

“Fast 8” will be the second flick in the franchise wherein Walker is not in it. Walker died back in November 30, 2013 in a car accident. He died when “Furious 7” was being filmed halfway through. His brothers were called in to act in the scenes where Walker was needed and digital editing was used to make it look like the late actor.

For “Fast 8,” there will be new faces joining the series such as Charlize Theron and Scott Eastwood. Theron is said to play the role of the villain for this franchise.

As for Eastwood, it is said that he will be one of the main characters. In a post by Eastwood, he paid tribute to Walker after announcing that he will be part of the next flick. Eastwood shared, “Paul was a close friend of mine. We surfed together, traveled together, and he was a huge role model and influencing figure in my life when I was younger. He still is. He was an older brother to me. For me to be able to add to the F&F story, Paul's story, and the FAST family is like a dream come true.”

“Fast 8” is set to be released on April 14, 2017. Two more installments will be released in the coming years. The ninth film will be in 2019 while the tenth will be in 2021.
