Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Reports surfaced earlier that “Fast and Furious” co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have been feuding due to some problems they encountered on set but the two cleared the air regarding the rumors.

According to the rumors, the producers of the latest movie for the franchise, titled “The Fate Of The Furious,” kept the two on separate areas to promote the new flick because of the feud. However, in the new interview of Diesel, he said he considers Johnson like his family and he does not have any problem with him. He added, “I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne.”

Diesel talked about the Instagram post of Johnson months ago regarding the wrapping up of the filming wherein the former professional wrestler slammed his male co-stars in the flick while he praised the female stars of the movie. Diesel continued to share in his new interview that he protects the franchise and everyone on set including Johnson.

Diesel continued to share, “I protected Dwayne more than he’ll ever know. And it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that’s me.”

In another interview, with Johnson this time, the “Moana” actor said they have different philosophies on how they do things but the most important thing is the movie. He did not take back anything he said on the August Instagram post that started the rumors about the two not getting along and having a beef.

“The Fate Of The Furious” will be out in theaters this April 14.
