Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – “The Hunger Games” alum Woody Harrelson , who was the mentor of Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen , might be helping another iconic character once again. According to rumors, Harrelson might be a mentor to Han Solo in another spinoff of the “Star Wars” franchise.

The “Star Wars” spinoff is said to star Alden Ehrenreich and the others featured stars will be Donald Glover and “Game of Thrones” actress Emilia Clarke. The directors will be Chris Miller and Phil Lord but none of these have been set on stone yet. Glover is said to be taking on the role of Lando Calrissian but Clarke’s role has not been disclosed yet.

It was also reported that the possible role of Harrelson will be about the space rogue who will be teaching Han Solo what he knows. Harrelson is said to be in early talks now and that the new “Star Wars” spinoff will be like the standalone movie “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” has been a hit and has earned around $800 million worldwide.

The new standalone “Star Wars” spinoff is said to be entitled “Star Wars: A New Hope” and will be out by 2018. “Star Wars: A New Hope” will be out by May 2018, five months after “Episode VIII” will be out.

“Star Wars: A New Hope” will be produced by Allison Shearmur and Kathleen Kennedy. The production is said to possibly start this January. Both Shearmur and Harrelson have worked together in the past as they worked on “The Hunger Games” together. Shearmur was working with Lionsgate for “The Hunger Games.”

Harrelson and his representatives have not commented on this yet. He has been busy with his other movies like “Now You See Me 2,” “LBJ ,” “The Edge of Seventeen,” and “Triple Nine.” He will also be working on “The Glass Castle” and “Wilson.”
