Beverly Hills, CA, United States (4E) – Yolanda Hadid will no longer be seen on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” ( RHOBH ) season 7 as she announced that she is exiting the hit Bravo series.

The former model took to Instagram to make the announcement. She pointed out that she is focusing on getting well from Lyme disease and on her children that is why she was exiting. Hadid’s full statement reads: “I would have loved a more graceful exit [than] ‘Season 6’ but sometimes we don’t get to control the ending of the chapters in our life … I am leaving what’s over without denying its past importance in my life. I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @BravoTV Family as I continue to focus on my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home…”

The 52-year-old joined the cast of “RHOBH” in 2012 and in season 6, it was not a good time for her since viewers were able to witness the fall of her marriage to David Foster, 66. She has also battled Lyme disease most of the time in the last season she appeared on and many of the other housewives thought she was faking it.

Hadid continued her message saying thank you to all her fans for the love and support for the past four years. She added that she is grateful for the “housewife experience” and everything it has taught her.

Hadid also noted in her statement that she is excited about her choice. She is to release a book about Lyme disease next year and she might be working on it more since deciding to leave the series.

Bravo also released a statement confirming the exit. The network said in a statement that Hadid was a great addition to “RHOBH” and they enjoyed and appreciated the former model sharing her life event son the show. They added, “We now respect her decision to focus on her health and family. We wish her a full recovery and hope to see her again sometime on the show.”

Executive producer Andy Cohen also took to Twitter to say: “We love you @YolandaHFoster #RHOBH.” The post had a heart emoji in it.
