Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Zayn Malik and the members of One Direction may not be in good terms as per the former member’s statements but he recently said in an interview that he is considering a reunion with the boys.
Malik has been going on interviews and has been saying that he did not like to be in One Direction anymore following his March 2015 departure from the band because he cannot express his creativity.
He also recently said that he has been reaching out to the other members of the band, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan , and Harry Styles but they have been shutting him out. These statements are contrary to what One Direction has said in their past interviews before as they noted that they still have communication with Malik .
He also dissed the songs of One Direction saying that it was never cool and that he never bought the new album entitled “Made In The A.M.” as he thought that only one song was great.
However, in a recent interview while promoting his new single “Pillowtalk ,” Mali said that there is a chance he will reunite with them. When asked if he will be in good terms with the boys possibly for a 20125 reunion, Malik answered, “Who knows? I don’t know. If the time was right and that was the thing to do, then I would make that decision when it came around.” He also noted that he has no beef with anyone from the boys.
He was also asked if he thought that being the first one to leave the band was a smart decision and he answered that he does not want to think of it like that but at that point, he knew that he wanted to go as he was fed up and he does not want to be part of what they are doing any more.
He also opened up about his hopes of continuing his education. He shared, "You know what, to educate yourself isn't that hard these days. You can do it at home. You can go to lectures – just sit there, which hopefully, at some point, I can do – like, just sit and listen to a lecture."
As for his new single, which will be released on January 29, he noted that it’s “dirty, sexy, and raw.” He also noted that his first ever album post One Direction is nog black and white as it is creative and artistic.
